Locum Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Southern Maine
40 minutes north of Portland.
Enjoy a rewarding outpatient primary care assignment in beautiful Southern Maine, delivering personalized care to adult and geriatric patients. This long-term locum opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call or weekends, and a supportive clinical team in a welcoming New England community.
Why This Assignment
- Assignment Dates: January 2027 start, minimum 6-month full time commitment
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, five 8-hour shifts; no weekends or call
- Outpatient primary care serving adult and geriatric patients
- See approximately 18–20 patients daily
- Collaborate with experienced MAs, RNs, and patient service representatives
- Epic EMR with training provided during onboarding
- Travel: Full travel expenses provided
- Enjoy Maine’s scenic lakes, hiking trails, charming downtowns, and year-round outdoor recreation
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- MSN or Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA-C
- Maine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Previous primary care experience required; no new graduates
- Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric populations
