About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Active Virginia RN license and CPR/BLS certification
- 3+ years of nursing experience with some of it in oncology experience
- Infusion/cancer medication experience highly preferred for clinical role
- OCN certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong oncology assessment skills
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide compassionate nursing support throughout the cancer journey
- Triage calls, portal messages, symptoms, and care needs
- Assess patients and coordinate care with oncology providers
- Depending on role, administer cancer therapies and monitor treatment
- Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central venous devices
- Educate patients and families about symptoms and treatment
