Locum Hospital Medicine APP – Central Georgia / Locum Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Join a collaborative inpatient team at a well-established community hospital in central Georgia supporting a busy hospital medicine service. This flexible locum assignment offers both day and night shifts, strong patient volume, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact while the team recruits permanent staff.
Why This Assignment
- Start: ASAP – continues until fully staffed
- Schedule: 7a–7p or 7p–7a shifts available
- No call responsibilities
- Inpatient hospital medicine coverage
- Round on approximately 16–18 patients daily
- Hospital averages 110 patients daily with 15–20 admissions
- 190-bed community hospital
- Orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift provided
- Temporary privileges may be available for qualified providers
- Travel expenses
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Georgia NP or PA license
- Recent inpatient hospitalist experience required
- Comfortable managing admissions, rounding, and acute inpatient care independently
- Able to provide case logs for credentialing
- Strong communication and team-based care skills
