What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide hereditary cancer risk assessments and genetic counseling
  • Collect and analyze personal and family medical histories
  • Coordinate genetic testing, laboratory services, and insurance authorizations
  • Counsel patients regarding genetic test results and personalized cancer risks
  • Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and social workers
  • Participate in research, tumor boards, case conferences, and educational initiatives

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Master’s degree in Medical Genetics or Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
  • Board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Genetics
  • Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
  • Oncology genetics experience preferred
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
