What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide hereditary cancer risk assessments and genetic counseling
- Collect and analyze personal and family medical histories
- Coordinate genetic testing, laboratory services, and insurance authorizations
- Counsel patients regarding genetic test results and personalized cancer risks
- Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and social workers
- Participate in research, tumor boards, case conferences, and educational initiatives
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Master’s degree in Medical Genetics or Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
- Board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Genetics
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
- Oncology genetics experience preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
