Locum Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner ER

Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Northwest Washington / Emergency NP or Emergency PA
Respected emergency department serving a diverse patient population in the Seattle region. This long-term locum opportunity offers consistent night shifts, strong clinical support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact caring for patients with a broad range of emergency conditions.
Why This Assignment
- Assignment Dates: July 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027
- Schedule: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, approximately 16 shifts per month
- Work in a well-established Emergency Department with medium- to high-acuity patients
- Evaluate, treat, and disposition 8–14 patients per shift
- Primarily medical cases with low trauma volume
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians and experienced RN support staff
- Utilize EPIC EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care planning
- Opportunity for ongoing shifts throughout the assignment, including weekends and holidays
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- MSN or Master’s degree with FNP certification, or Master’s degree with PA-C certification
- Active Washington license – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Experience managing medium- to high-acuity emergency patients
- DEA, BLS, ACLS
- EPIC experience preferred
