About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Must have 2 years of true hospital Behavioral Health/Psych experience of like size (250 census).
- Must have prior nurse manager or nursing leadership experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- AZ or Compact RN license and BLS
- Confidence managing staff performance, coaching teams, and driving process improvements
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the behavioral health unit
- Lead onboarding, scheduling, and performance management for nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards, state board regulations, and safety protocols
- Monitor and improve quality of care based on clinical outcomes
- Manage infection control, medication protocols, and emergency preparedness procedures
