Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Chattanooga area hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum coverage in the ICU.

Why Apply:

  • Schedule: 12-hour day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts, specific dates
  • No call required
  • Intensive care unit with patient Volume of 12 per shift
  • Required Procedures: Intubations, central and arterial line placements
  • Support Staff: MDs and APPs
  • Cred Timeframe: 4 weeks
  • Paid travel & expenses: Full Travel

About you: Experienced with procedures like central and arterial line placements, intubations. Must be board-certified: PA-C, ACNP (Acute Care NP);Adult Primary Care NP;ANP (Adult NP), TN License, DEA, ACLS, BLS are required

  • You must be able to produce Case Logs from past 24 months. For special privileges like Intubation, Arterial Lines, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, CVC, Hemodialysis, Chest Tub, which requires at least 10 cases in the past 24 months or director supervision for at least the first 10 procedures.
