Certified Nurse Midwife – Northern North Carolina

Why This Assignment
- Dates: current – 6/2027 – Ongoing assignment
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p | No call
- Inpatient-only role at a 114-bed hospital
- Average 19 births/month with low census (~2 patients)
- Manage ~1 admission per day and minimal ED volume
- Level II nursery with pediatric and anesthesia support
- Strong OB backup available for escalations
- EMR: Epic
- Travel: Paid air, hotel, mileage, and car
- Access to regional children’s hospital for transport support
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Board-certified CNM with active North Carolina license
- DEA required (or transferable)
- Experience in inpatient obstetrics and delivery care
- ALSO certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) (within 6 months if staying on long term)
- Evidence of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
