Telephone Triage Nurse (RN) / Advice Line Nurse
Cancer Center in Northern, Virginia is seeking a full-time Telephone Triage Nurse, helping oncology patients receive timely, compassionate guidance when they need it most. You’ll play a vital role in symptom management, care coordination, and reducing unnecessary emergency visits while supporting exceptional patient outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Triage patient calls, portal messages, and emails
- Assess symptoms using clinical judgment and computerized triage pathways
- Manage oncology-related symptoms and determine urgency
- Collaborate with providers to coordinate appropriate care
- Document all patient interactions and provide education by phone
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Active RN license and current BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- 3-5 years of nursing experience
- At least one year of oncology nursing experience
- Maintain continuing education requirements
